1st Fest

DDARA
Twitter Thread
✧ Base your story on any song from the album DDARA.
✧ It doesn’t have to be a song-fic, you can use only the title of the song or one line from it as keywords for your fic.
✧ It has to be clear it is related to such words or lyrics, the keyword(s) you choose should be reflected in your story.
✧ For example, if you choose Spell as your keyword your story could be a fantasy one with magic as its main characteristic.
✧ Remember you can use one word only or you can use the whole song, that's up to you and your creativity.
✧ Above all, this is your fic so you're the one who decides how to make it work.
2nd Fest

REPLAY, RE-BOOT

Twitter Thread
✧ This once you are challenged to take a story you enjoy in any format (novel, comic, game, movie, series, etc) and re-imagine/re-tell it.
✧ Basically grab your favorite story and adapt it to work as a fanfiction for Golden Child, adding in your own color.
✧ Retellings are typically a new version of an old story. For example, an author might tell a new story based on a popular fairy tale. Often they might include a modern setting or add a minor character's perspective, or create a mashup of different genres.
✧ The challenge is to retell, not copy and paste!! Please be extremely careful with that. No copies of original works are allowed. You can change whatever you'd like from the original work - that's encouraged - but you also have to make sure to keep traces of it.
✧ You can use literally any piece of work you'd like - as long as it has a storyline.
✧ Please do not forget to refer the work you used as inspiration! This is very important as no entries will be accepted unless this is respected.
✧ Above all, this is your fic so you're the one who decides how to make it work. Just please be mindful of the above information and the remaining rules to avoid any slip-ups.
✧ Feel free to contact us on twitter or email if you have any doubts or would like to have a better understanding of the limits of what you can/can't do.
